About the artwork 

This limited edition lithograph print based on a highly detailed pencil drawing of Michael Jackson which the artist originally made as a teenager during an obsession with the King of Pop in the 1980s.

Limited edition print made to coincide with limited edition publication, Michael Jackson and Other Men.

About the artist

Dawn Mellor (b. 1970, Manchester) lives and works in London. They have had recurring solo exhibitions at Team Gallery, New York: Victoria Miro Gallery, London; Il Capricorno, Venice and Galerie Drantmann, Brussels. Further solo exhibitions include: Sirens, Team Gallery (2017); Painting Evil, Kunstverein in Hamburg (2016); What Happened to Helen? Focal Point Gallery (2013). She has participated in various group exhibitions including: Team Gallery, New York (2008); Yvon Lambert, New York (2007); Defamation of Character, PS1, New York (2006); Expanded Painting, Prague Biennial (2005) and Remix: Contemporary Art and Pop, Tate Liverpool, Liverpool (2002).
