About the artist
Andrea Büttner was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2017. Recent solo exhibitions include Steine, Moose und Zelte, Galerie Tschudi, Zuoz, Switzerland (2019); The Heart of Relations, Hollybush Gardens, London (2019); Jan Mot, Brussels, Belgium Hollybush Gardens, London, England (2018); Shepherds and Kings, Bergen Kunstall, Bergen, Norway (2018). She has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions in museums and institutions worldwide, including the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2017); Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, Switzerland (2017); Kunsthalle Wien, Austria (2016); Walker Art Center, Minneapolis (2015); Museum Ludwig, Cologne (2014); Tate Britain, London (2014); Walter Phillips Gallery, Banff Centre, Canada (2014); National Museum Cardiff, Wales (2014); Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin (2014); and MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt (2013). Her work is in the permanent collections of many institutions, including the Aspen Art Museum, Colorado; MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt; Museum Ludwig, Cologne; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Tate, London; and Walker Art Center, Minneapolis. Büttner lives and works in Berlin.

Special projects have included Jeremy Deller's Fuck Brexit and Jeremy Deller's FUCK YOU 2020 and John Booth's The Artists' Bedroom.
