About the artist

Peter McDonald (b. 1973, Tokyo) lives and works in London. Recent solo exhibitions include This, that and the other, Dio Horia, Greece, 2018; Mushrooms of Language, Kate MacGarry, UK, 2017; and Peter McDonald, Kate MacGarry, London, UK, 2013. He was the recipient of the Abbey Fellowship, The British School at Rome in 2017, and First Prizewinner, John Moores 25 Contemporary Painting Prize, 2008. The artist is represented by Kate MacGarry, London.
