About the artwork
These bold and colourful face vases are hand thrown by artist Fredik Andersson under his moniker Fredde Lanka. Each vase is hand thrown and glazed in their London studio. Each vase is unique in a series.
About the artist
Originally from Sweden, Fredrik Andersson (They/He) works in London as an independent artist and educator. Working across illustration, comics and ceramics their work is often humorous and strongly narrative addressing topics ranging from queer culture, family dynamics and sex. In 2019, they founded Queer Youth Art Collective (QYAC) with art therapist Susy Langsdale. QYAC has been running workshops at The Outside Project in London for LGBTQ young people aged between 18-26.
