    About The Artwork

In this limited edition screen print, New York–based artist Cory Arcangel has reproduced a page torn from an art history book, featuring one of Piet Mondrian’s famed 'Lozenge' paintings. In the Lozenge painting series, Mondrian tilted his square canvases at a 45-degree angle so that they hung in a diamond shape. In creating this edition, Arcangel has tilted the torn page depicting the Mondrian painting back by 45 degrees, allowing the work to appear square again.
