Beehive Vase

A handmade vase by Bristol-based, London-born artist and designer Sophie Alda. Alda explores the relationship between the functional, the sculptural and the narratively suggestive, approaching materiality and tactility in a playful way while rejecting the hierarchy of the practically useful/ art object within craft or otherwise. All items are handmade by the artist and may therefore feature small inconsistencies which add to their charm.
