About The Artwork
This edition was developed from McKenzie's residency at Studio Voltaire. During her time with us, she explored the environmental impacts of British colonisation in Jamaica, starting from the 17th century, McKenzie studied a number of natural elements within the ecology of Jamaica, ultimately creating a number of collages, a new sound work and exhibition. This edition is one of the collages featured in her exhibition at Studio Voltaire. It is sold unframed and comes with a Studio Voltaire Certificate of Authenticity.
