    About Aaron Angell

Aaron Angell (b. 1987) is a British artist known for his unique ceramic sculptures. Informed by, yet entirely outside of, long-standing ceramic traditions of folk history, craft knowledge, and Anglo-Japanese pottery, Angell’s work occupies a unique artistic crossroads. He is the founder of the ceramics studio Troy Town Art Pottery in East London.

Angell has shown widely with institutions and galleries such as Hayward Gallery, London; Koppe Astner, Glasgow; Tate, St Ives, and London; Holburne Museum, Bath; Kunstverein Freiburg, Freiburg; and Studio Voltaire, London. His work is held in private and public collections, including institutions such as Tate, London; Arts Council Collection, London; Glasgow Museums Collection, Glasgow; and Victoria & Albert Museum, London.

Angell is represented by Rob Tuffnell.
