About Bedwyr Williams
Bedwyr Williams (b. 1974) is a Welsh artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans film, installation, text, sculpture, photography and performance. Williams’ work uniquely blends comedy and poetry, exploring Welshness in relation to the experience of cultural otherness and personal difference.
He has exhibited and performed widely with institutions such as The Barbican Centre, London; La Biennale di Venezia, Venice; Tramway, Glasgow; Tate Britain, London; MoMA PS1, New York City; Saatchi Gallery, London; Whitechapel Gallery, London; and Chapter, Cardiff.
