    About The Artwork

    Exclusive to House of Voltaire, this edition is a made-to-order. 100% Geelong Lambswool blanket by artist Brian Calvin and produced by master Scottish craftspeople. The double-sided knitting technique achieves a design-rich finish, with the front face of the blanket showcasing Henrot's artwork, and a colourful birds-eye pattern on the underside. The blanket has a noticeably soft handle and luxurious heavyweight feel. Please contact us if you require a blanket by a specific date, some are available for immediate dispatch. Production can take up to twelve weeks. Your order will be placed with the weaver and dispatch will be confirmed via email.

    About Brian Calvin

    Brian Calvin (b. 1969) is a contemporary American painter known for his large-scale, stylized figurative works and portraiture. His works engage with principles of abstraction, pop art, and cubism through vividly saturated colour palettes, and the mixing and remixing of figures’ features throughout his works.

    He has exhibited internationally with institutions and galleries such as Le Consortium, Dijon, Mu.ZEE; Ostlund, Art Basel; Basel, Corvi-Mora; London, Gallery Side 2; Tokyo, Woaw Gallery; Hong Kong, Transmission Gallery; Glasgow, Gallery Met, Metropolitan Opera; New York City, and The Barbican; London.
