    Celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2024, Studio Voltaire has invited many major artists to revisit and reimagine some of their previous House of Voltaire releases for our “Greatest Hits”. 10 years after the release of Celia Hempton's edition 'Casper', the artwork has been reprised for this greetings card.

    About Celia Hempton

    Celia Hempton (b.1981) is a British artist best known for her vibrant, figurative works exploring sexuality, form, and subversion of the male gaze. Working with sound and installation alongside painting, Hempton’s practice is expansive in its investigation of the body, its encounters and relationships.

    She has shown widely with institutions and galleries such as Art Night; London, Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; Whitechapel Gallery, London; Gwangju Biennale, Gwangju, and Serpentine Galleries, London. Her work is held in the UK Government Art Collection, and the British Council Collection amongst others.
