The grayscale comic-style illustration in "Magnetic Promenade and Other Sculpture Parks" by House of Voltaire, created by Will Holder, depicts a man addressing another man in a suit with speech bubbles overhead. To the right, a woman sits on a step, singing near a shrine adorned with photos, candles, and crosses amidst a wooded area. Text is scattered throughout both pages.

This book is produced by House of Voltaire.
An open book displays a colorful illustration on the right page of a person leaning over on a beach, with faint pier structures in the background. About Chris Evans

Chris Evans (b. 1967) is a British artist whose work evolves through conversation, directed to deliberately confuse the roles of artist and patron, author and muse. By selecting people with unusual relationships to public life, Evans uses conversations with a body of interesting people - such as directors of champagne houses, retired politicians, and pharmaceutical CEOs - to create unique bodies of multimedia work. Sculpture, text, drawing, and social encounters form the broader structure of Evans’ critically engaged work.

He has shown internationally with institutions such as Hong Gah Museum, Taipei; PRAXES Centre for Contemporary Art, Berlin; Tramway, Glasgow; Kunsthall Oslo, Oslo; Tate, Liverpool; Institute for Contemporary Art, London; Para Site, Hong Kong, Objectif Exhibitions, Antwerp; and Studio Voltaire, London. His work has been collected by public institutions such as the Arts Council England Collection, UK; The Parliament of Lithuania, Vilnius; Foundation Kunsthalle Bern, Switzerland; The Henry Moore Institute, UK; The Art Museum of Estonia, Tallinn; and Sculpture International Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Evans is represented by Markus Lüttgen.
