Melding influences from Sérgio de Camargo of the Brazilian Neo-Concrete Movement with the craft traditions of Bavaria, this illusionary piece, carved from a single piece of wood, resembles interwoven wooden columns. This piece emerged from a study trip Sinsel made to Oberammergau in Germany, where the artist worked in the local state woodcarving school. During this period Sinsel created several works featuring columns and pipes, often at a dynamic tilt.
