A vintage magazine page from the Dress & Strip the Sailor Print & Magazine Set by David Bush features drawings of men, some undressed, with cut-out clothing options. Titled "ENTERTAINMENT FOR A RAINY DAY," it appears playful and artistic, akin to lithographs in style.
This art piece features grayscale lithographs depicting muscular men in bold, striking poses. One figure wears a leather jacket and boots, evoking the iconic imagery of Physique Pictorial Magazine, while the other figure is part of a group composition. Text elements are intricately woven into the design, reflecting David Bush's signature House of Voltaire style in the Dress & Strip the Sailor Print & Magazine Set.

    About The Artwork

A unique opportunity to get your hands on a set of original lithographic prints by Spartacus, alongside the only colour edition of Physique Pictorial ever released. This pair of ‘Dress and Strip the Sailor’ prints were originally advertised as a mail-order game, the advert for which appears in this very rare colour edition of Physique Pictorial. An advertisement for mail-order Tom of Finland prints appears in the same edition. Both the pair of lithographs and the magazine are originals and in good condition thanks to careful storage, but please note there is some light wear and tear and discolouration to the paper due to their age.
