Latvian-born painter Ella Kruglyanskaya is well-known for her large-scale works depicting vibrant, feminine figures. Kruglyanskaya’s work confronts cultural tropes head-on, engaging with voyeurism and exhibitionism with a strong sense of humour. A recurring feature of Kruglyanskaya’s practice is her negotiation of the viewer. In this new edition series the artist has combined placed objects, drawings and cut-out elements, which have been photographed by Mark Woods to produce these giclee prints.
