      Entirely unique in design and form, James Shaw’s Baroque handles is a sculptural interior accent, created using waste plastics in an assortment of pastel hues. A lesson in functional art, each of Shaw’s unexpected creations brings out the beauty and excitement of the waste material, transforming it into something of lasting interest and value. Alluding to forms of the baroque era, this handle is hand-formed from recycled HDPE plastic using an extrusion gun of Shaw’s own design. With a unique, one-of-a-kind charm.

      James Shaw is a London-based designer known for his unique, hand-made sculptural works repurposing waste material. Shaw’s work interrogates the notions of waste and functional art in tandem, creating striking new designs as a result. His work is in prestigious public collections such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York City; V&A Museum, London; The Montreal Museum of Art, Montreal; and The Design Museum, London, among others.
