About The Artwork
The painting featured on this silk scarf was one of Judy's first artworks, symbolising her struggle as a female artist. Through the Flower is also the name of Judy's non-profit Feminist art organisation founded by Chicago in 1978. Judy's mission is to educate a broad public about the importance of art and its power in countering the erasure of women's achievements.
