About Mary Reid Kelley & Patrick Kelley
Mary Reid Kelley (b. 1979) and Patrick Kelley (b. 1969) are spouses and collaborators, having worked together since 2008. Known for their bold, black-and-white video works, their collaborative practice is led by Reid Kelley’s performance, painting, and feminist historical critique and bound together through Kelley’s unique style of videography.
The duo have exhibited widely, with institutions and galleries such as Tate, Liverpool; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Neuer Kunstverein Wien, Vienna; Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; Fondazione Prada, Milan; Somerset House, London; Haus der Kunst, Munich; Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw; Whitechapel Gallery, London; The Jewish Museum, New York City, and Studio Voltaire, London.
