This limited edition t-shirt for House of Voltaire revisits clothing featuring tabloid headlines Deller produced for Covent Garden’s Sign of the Times shop, a locus of London’s demimonde in the early 1990s, whilst the artist was working there as a shop assistant.
About Jeremy Deller
Jeremy Deller (b. 1966) is a British artist well-known for his bold, multi-disciplinary practice engaged with pop culture and social politics. Deller’s work spans performance, print, sound, and photography - among other mediums. He was awarded the Turner Prize in 2004.
Deller has exhibited internationally with institutions such as Tate Britain, London; Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Whitechapel Gallery, London; La Biennale di Venezia, Venice; Tate Modern, London; and Turner Contemporary, Margate.
Deller is represented by The Modern Institute and Art Concept.
