About Sola Olulode

Sola Olulode (b.1996) is a British-Nigerian artist, best known for her figurative works depicting queer love and relationships. Reflecting on her own experiences throughout her practice, Olulode’s work celebrates Black identity, womxnhood, and non-binary experiences with a uniquely tender visual language. A current studio artist at Studio Voltaire, Olulode has exhibited her work with a number of institutions and galleries, including Christies, London; Lisson Gallery, London; Alice Black, London; Brixton Library, London; VO Curations 12th Floor, London, and Roman Road, London.
