About The Artwork
This photographic work by Grayson Perry depicts members of the Neo-Naturists group in 1984. This particular performance took place in the fountains at the foot of the iconic Centre Point Building in London - one of the city's first skyscrapers. Testing the boundaries of being nude in public, the group found themselves luckier than many other streakers in avoiding arrest - however, they had an extended discussion with a passing policeman about the difference between indecent exposure and public insult. This edition follows the first historical survey of the Neo Naturist's work, held at Studio Voltaire. A digital pigment print onto Harman Baryta paper, this edition has been framed using high-quality, museum grade materials and may have previously been used for display purposes.
