House of Voltaire London, 2014

House of Voltaire's third biennial outing took place at 39 to 40 Albemarle St, Mayfair W1S 4TE from 2 November 2014 – 20 December 2014, generously supported by the luxury French fashion Maison, Chloé, with additional support from NET-A-PORTER.COM.

On sale was a cornucopia of unique artworks, limited edition prints and specially commissioned homewares, clothing and accessories by leading contemporary artists and designers, in support of Studio Voltaire’s renowned gallery and education programmes.

House of Voltaire commissioned special collaborations between artists and fashion designers including Christopher Shannon & Leslie Winer; Simone Rocha & Kim Gordon; Roksanda Ilincic & Eva Rothschild; Peter Jensen & Ella Kruglyanskaya; Craig Green & George Henry Longly; Sibling & Jim Lambie and April Crichton & Nicolas Party.

Chloé partnered with three leading female artists – Cao Fei, Karen Kilimnik and Jenny Saville – to create bespoke pieces for this special fundraising initiative.

Additional product highlights include pure wool blankets by Helen Marten, Matt Connors, Enrico David and Pae White; ethereal silk scarves by Silke Otto-Knapp, printed throws by Richard Wright; erotic Christmas decorations by Linder; furniture by Anton Alvarez; baseball caps by TurnerPrize-winner Jeremy Deller and tea towels by famed graphic designer Peter Saville.

Throughout the run of House of Voltaire, a cast of familiar faces from the worlds of art and fashion were shop-keeping in-store and a schedule of special ad-hoc events took place each day.
